The Expedition PRO is Overland Vehicle Systems’ marine-grade stainless steel truck cap, built specifically for the 2019–2027 Chevy / GMC Silverado / Sierra 1500 in 5.8 ft and 6.6 ft bed lengths. Full wing doors on high-pressure gas struts open each side of the bed completely, so you reach your gear from the side instead of crawling in from the tailgate.

The shell is 16-gauge marine-grade stainless steel, e-coated and finished in a two-stage textured black powder coat for corrosion protection. Integrated roof rails carry 750 lb parked and 325 lb on the road with OVS crossbars, enough for a rooftop tent. MOLLE-PAL channels inside the wing doors hold gear, and heavy-duty security cages cover the rear and window glass.

It clamps to the bed rails with no drilling and installs in about 1–2 hours. Keyed-alike locking latches, a weatherproof gasket package and a pressure vent to cut condensation come standard, backed by OVS’s limited lifetime warranty. We ship it free within the contiguous U.S.

Not compatible with GM Carbon Pro beds.

Know before you buy

Will it fit my trim?Not compatible with GM Carbon Pro beds or RAM RamBox. Spare-tire bed mounts or other accessories in the way must come off first.
Is it waterproof?A 3M bulb seal for the bed rails and bulkhead, a tailgate seal on the rear hatch and two pieces of butyl tape are included. No truck bed is fully airtight; the tailgate edge is the usual leak point.
How much can the roof carry?With OVS crossbars, 325 lb while driving and 750 lb parked. Enough for a rooftop tent.
Does the front window open to the cab?No. The cab-side window is fixed, with no drop-down or pass-through.
How much can the doors hold?About 15 lb of mounted gear per door, so the gas struts keep working properly.
