This Shipping Policy explains how orders are processed, shipped, and delivered when you place an order with Ride Off Grid.

Shipping Destinations

We currently ship within the contiguous United States (excluding Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico).

We are continually working to expand our shipping coverage and will update this page as additional locations become available.

Shipping Costs

We offer free standard shipping on all orders delivered within the contiguous United States (excluding Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico).

Return shipping costs and applicable restocking fees are outlined in our Refunds and Returns Policy.

Order Processing Time

Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will begin processing on the next business day.

Processing times may vary depending on product availability and order volume. If a longer processing time is expected for a specific product, it will be noted on the product page.

Shipping Methods and Delivery Timeframes

Because we carry products from multiple brands and ship from authorized manufacturer and distribution partner warehouses located across the United States, shipping methods and delivery timeframes vary by product type.

Standard Parcel Shipments (Leitner Designs Accessories and Smaller Items)

Smaller items, accessories, and non-freight products are shipped via UPS, FedEx, or USPS.

  • Estimated delivery: 3–5 business days from ship date
  • Total estimated time from order to delivery: 4–7 business days
  • Orders over $150 shipped via UPS require a signature upon delivery

Freight Shipments (Rooftop Tents and Oversized Items)

Rooftop tents and other oversized products are classified as freight and ship via LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) carriers such as FedEx Freight, Old Dominion, XPO Logistics, Estes Express, or similar providers.

  • Estimated delivery: 7–15 business days from ship date
  • The freight carrier will contact you by phone to schedule a delivery appointment
  • An adult must be present to sign for the delivery
  • Delivery is curbside only — drivers are not responsible for unloading or bringing items inside
  • Please arrange assistance in advance based on the weight and size of your shipment
  • We cannot deliver freight shipments to P.O. Boxes — please provide a valid street address
  • Missed delivery appointments or unreachable contact numbers may result in delays or additional fees

Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to carrier scheduling, destination, weather, or other factors outside our control.

Signature Requirements

For security purposes, orders over $150 shipped via UPS require a signature upon delivery. If no one is available to sign and the package is returned to us, the customer will be responsible for reshipping costs.

After your order ships, you will receive an email with your tracking number and carrier information.

Delivery Issues

If your package is delayed beyond the estimated delivery window, please contact us:

If tracking shows your package was delivered but you have not received it, please:

  • Verify the shipping address provided at checkout
  • Check with neighbors or building management
  • Contact us for further assistance

Damaged Packages

If your order arrives damaged, please:

  • Take photos of the damaged packaging and items immediately upon delivery
  • Note any visible damage on the carrier delivery receipt at the time of delivery — failure to document visible freight damage at delivery may affect claim eligibility
  • Contact us within 7 days of delivery

We will work with you to resolve the issue and arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate.

Missing Items

If any items are missing from your order, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a description of the missing items.

We will investigate and resolve the issue by either sending the missing items or issuing a refund where applicable.

Incorrect Address

Please ensure your shipping address is accurate when placing your order. We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided at checkout.

If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, we will contact you to arrange reshipment. Additional shipping charges may apply.

Undeliverable or Returned Shipments

Packages returned to us due to incorrect address information, delivery refusals, or failure to retrieve the package will be held until we are contacted. Any costs to reship will be the responsibility of the customer.

Changes to This Shipping Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Shipping Policy at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
