The Eezi-Awn Truck Shell K9 Roof Rack Kit adds a K9 platform to almost any truck cap or canopy with a usable top surface. It comes in 20 sizes, 700 mm to 2.2 m long and 1250 to 1500 mm wide, each with standard 65 mm or low 40 mm feet.

The kit includes a pair of universal K9 mounting rails, a set of rail-mount feet and the platform. The extruded-aluminium K9 deck takes Eezi-Awn's bolt-on mounts for fuel cans, tools, recovery boards, awnings and a table. Eezi-Awn reports test loads near 500 lb moving and 1,000 lb parked on vehicles with upgraded suspension; these are test results, not a warrantied rating, and your shell's own roof rating still applies.

The rails arrive undrilled with a centring groove in the base, so you drill typically four to five holes per rail through the shell roof or match an existing track's holes. Fasteners are not included because shell thickness varies; Eezi-Awn uses M6 stainless button-head screws, fender washers and nylock nuts. Then bolt the feet to the rails and the platform to the feet.

What accessories bolt to the K9?Eezi-Awn makes bolt-on K9 mounts for jerry cans, axes, shovels, Hi-Lift jacks, MAXTRAX-style recovery boards, awnings and an under-rack table.
Can I buy just the platform?Yes. The K9 Roof Rack Platform is sold on its own with no hardware, for use with K9 rails and feet, track-mount feet or G-Clamp feet.
What is the warranty?Eezi-Awn warrants K9 roof racks, load bars and accessories for 3 years from the date of manufacture, when mounted on its own K9 mounting system and installed to its instructions.
