The Eezi-Awn K9 Load Bar Kit gives a 2003–2023 Lexus GX470 or GX460 a pair of low aluminium crossbars. Pick the kit for your generation: the GX470 version is listed for the Land Cruiser Prado 120 and the GX460 version for the Prado 150. Every option is listed for a 2 m K9 mounting rail and comes with four feet or legs and two bars, in 1250, 1400 or 1500 mm lengths (49, 55 or 59 in).

Each bar is a powder-coated aluminium extrusion slotted with an 8 mm T-track on top and underneath. The rear edge carries a flat lip for drilling and bolting down a soft- or hard-shell rooftop tent, and the bottom slot accepts Eezi-Awn's DIY extrusion, which captures an M8 bolt head so feet or accessories can sit anywhere along the bar.

The kit is built around the K9 rail, but K9 bars also work with Eezi-Awn gutter-mount legs and grab-on feet, sold separately along with extra bars. Eezi-Awn warrants K9 roof racks, load bars and accessories for 3 years from date of manufacture when they are mounted on its own K9 mounting system.

K9 load bar questions

What comes in a K9 load bar kit?Two K9 load bars and four feet or legs. Each option is listed by mounting and bar length for your vehicle; extra bars and feet are sold separately.

Which bar length should I choose?Bars come in 1250, 1400 and 1500 mm (49, 55 and 59 in); not every kit offers all three. Match the length to your roof width and to the mounting points of the tent or carrier you plan to fit.

Can I mount a rooftop tent on K9 load bars?Yes. The bars have a lip along the rear edge for drilling and bolting down a soft- or hard-shell tent, and the top T-slot takes bolt-on hardware. Check your tent maker's crossbar requirements and your vehicle's roof limit.

Can the feet be moved along the bar?Yes. The lower slot captures an M8 bolt head, so feet or legs can be fixed anywhere along the bar.
