The Backwoods Adventure Mods Rock Sliders fit 2022–2025 Toyota Tundra CrewMax short bed trucks and combine a rock slider, running board and side step in one part. Pick the Hybrid kit for i-FORCE MAX trucks or the Non-Hybrid kit for gas-only models. They won't fit 2026 and newer Tundras.

Each slider is built from DOM steel tubing and mounts directly to the frame, so it can take a hit or carry the truck on a ledge. They sit at a 0 degree angle, and a rear kickout widens the step and adds protection ahead of the rear tire. A bolt-on aluminum top plate won't rust under boots, black powder coat is included, and each slider weighs about 85 lb.

Install is 100% bolt-on, and Backwoods Adventure Mods has a full install video for the 3rd gen Tundra. Backwoods covers the structure with a lifetime warranty for the original owner, and we ship it free within the contiguous U.S.

Questions we get

Do I have to weld anything?No. Every BAM slider kit is 100% bolt-on and comes with Grade 8 hardware.

Which Tacoma kit do I need?Short Bed fits Double Cab short bed and Access Cab long bed trucks. Long Bed fits Double Cab long bed trucks. Both cover 2WD and 4WD.

Do they work on hybrid trucks?The 2024+ Tacoma kits fit hybrid and non-hybrid trucks. The 2022–2025 Tundra has separate Hybrid and Non-Hybrid kits for CrewMax short bed trucks, and won't fit 2026+.

Will they fit a 4Runner with KDSS?Yes. The 5th gen 4Runner sliders work with or without KDSS. Limited trims need the factory side skirt removed.

Can I stand on them?Yes. The aluminum top plate is made to be stepped on and won't rust, and the rear kickout gives you a wide step to reach the roof.
