These brackets tie a Backwoods Hi-Lite front bumper back to the sway bar mounts, giving winch and recovery loads a second path into the frame. They're optional, but Backwoods recommends them for anyone who winches.

Do I need these brackets?They're optional, but Backwoods strongly recommends them if you plan to winch or do recoveries.
Can I add them after the bumper is on?Yes. They bolt on with the bumper already installed.
Will I need to trim anything?Some trucks need a light trim of the plastic fender liner for clearance.
Do they work with aftermarket suspension?On Tacomas with a shock reservoir bracket at the sway bar mount, you may need longer bolts or a small bracket modification.
Which bumpers do they fit?They're built for the Backwoods Hi-Lite front bumpers for the matching truck.
