These Front Bumper Frame Support Brackets add a second load path for the Backwoods Adventure Mods Hi-Lite front bumper on 2010–2024 Toyota 4Runner trucks. They bolt to the factory bumper mounts and wrap back to the front sway bar mounts, spreading winching and recovery loads across more of the frame.

Each bracket is 3/16 in steel with a black powder coat finish. They come as a pair with a hardware kit, and they're built specifically for the Hi-Lite 4Runner bumper.

The brackets are a simple bolt-on and can go in after the bumper is already mounted. Some trucks need a small trim to the plastic fender liner for clearance. Backwoods calls them optional but strongly recommended if you winch. We ship them free within the contiguous U.S.

Do I need these brackets?They're optional, but Backwoods strongly recommends them if you plan to winch or do recoveries.

Can I add them after the bumper is on?Yes. They bolt on with the bumper already installed.

Do they work with aftermarket suspension?On Tacomas with a shock reservoir bracket at the sway bar mount, you may need longer bolts or a small bracket modification.
