The TVMS Prime RedVision System is REDARC's vehicle management kit for camper trailers and mid-sized caravans that run more than two water tanks and a mix of low and high powered devices. It brings charging, monitoring and switching into one system, with the Manager30 battery manager and a RedVision display included, and you control it from that display or a Bluetooth phone app.

The Manager30 is a 30A charger that measures your battery levels and adjusts its charge rate as it goes, and the kit has an MPPT solar regulator with a 9–30V solar input. Switching runs through 10 output channels (5 × 30A and 5 × 10A) plus a dedicated inverter channel, with an 80A max current. Six dedicated tank level inputs and two ambient temperature inputs report alongside state of charge, charge remaining, current and battery temperature. There is a physical backup switch on the device.

It is a 12V system and is not suited to 24V. REDARC rates it for trailer and cabin or canopy installs, not the engine bay. You add batteries, cables and fuses. The tank inputs take conductive/probe sensors, and REDARC sells the TVMSDBWK-001 Water Tank Sensor Kit separately. REDARC covers it with a 2-year warranty, and we ship it free within the contiguous U.S.

TVMS Prime questions

What is the difference between the RedVision System and the Distribution Box?The TVMS Prime RedVision System includes the Manager30 battery manager and a RedVision display. The Distribution Box is an upgrade unit only and needs an existing Manager30 with Color Display Screen to provide all functionality.

Will it work on a 24V system? No. REDARC lists TVMS Prime as a 12V system that is not suitable for 24V systems.
Can it go in the engine bay?No. REDARC lists it for trailer and cabin or canopy installs, not engine bay installation.
Who should install it?REDARC recommends installation by a qualified auto electrician or technician, such as a member of its REDNetwork.
