The REDARC Manager30 is a 30A battery management system that charges and maintains auxiliary batteries from AC, DC and solar inputs, made for RVs, trucks and camper trailers running more than one battery bank. It works as six products in one: a DC-DC charger that runs off the alternator while you drive, a 110V AC shore power charger, an MPPT solar regulator, a battery isolator, a load disconnect controller and an included remote battery monitor.

It charges standard lead acid, calcium, gel, AGM and lithium (LiFePO4) batteries, with a maximum charging voltage of 14.4–16V depending on settings. Input runs on 110V AC or 9–30V DC, solar input on 9–30V, and output is rated at 30A on 12V systems. REDARC pairs it with a portable solar panel to stretch off-grid and overland trips. The unit weighs 12.1 lb and measures 17.5 × 7.3 × 3.1 in.

REDARC rates the Manager30 for cabin, canopy and trailer installs but not for the engine bay, and it suits 12V systems only, not 24V. A 40A output fuse is needed and is not supplied (REDARC recommends its FK40), and REDARC recommends installation by a qualified auto electrician. It carries a 2-year REDARC warranty, and we ship it free within the contiguous U.S.
