The Eezi-Awn K9 Roof Rack Kit sets a flat, low aluminium platform across the roof of a 2007–2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser. It comes in 18 sizes, from 1250 mm to 1500 mm wide and 1.4 m to 2.2 m long; the longest deck runs from just behind the windshield to just short of the rear hatch.

The platform is extruded aluminium with fully welded joints, powder coated matte black and only about 1⅜ in thick. Because the FJ roof curves so sharply, the kit uses three foot heights (40, 65 and 90 mm) to hold the deck level. Its slats take Eezi-Awn's bolt-on K9 mounts, and the perimeter accepts Thule and Yakima sport-bar towers. Eezi-Awn reports tested loads near 500 lb moving and 1,000 lb parked on upgraded suspension, not a warrantied rating.

Installation needs no drilling: once the factory rack is off, mounting rails sit over the roof pinch-weld trim on the factory rack points, followed by the feet and platform. Allow about 1½ hours for one person, with a helper to lift the platform. Written instructions are included.
