The Eezi-Awn K9 Roof Rack Kit fits the 2003–2009 Toyota 4Runner (4th gen) and replaces the factory roof rack. It comes in 18 sizes, 1250 to 1500 mm wide and 1.4 to 2.2 m long. The 2 m platform runs from just behind the windshield to about an inch ahead of the rear hatch, while the 1.6 m version starts behind the sunroof so it can still open.

Each kit pairs an extruded-aluminium K9 platform with a pair of 4Runner mounting rails and K9 feet, two per platform cross brace. Because the 4th-gen roof arcs, it uses the standard 65 mm feet, about 5 in tall above the second-row doors at the pinch-weld trim. Eezi-Awn reports test loads near 500 lb moving and 1,000 lb parked on vehicles with upgraded suspension; these are test results, not a warrantied rating.

Plan on about 1½ hours for one person, plus a helper to lift the platform. Remove the factory rack, fit the rails over the pinch-weld trim using the factory rack mounting points, with no drilling for any size, then add the feet and platform. Written instructions are included.

Can I buy just the platform?Yes. The K9 Roof Rack Platform is sold on its own with no hardware, for use with K9 rails and feet, track-mount feet or G-Clamp feet.
What is the warranty?Eezi-Awn warrants K9 roof racks, load bars and accessories for 3 years from the date of manufacture, when mounted on its own K9 mounting system and installed to its instructions.
