Does Installation Require Drilling?
Yes, Most ACS FORGED Drill Mount systems require drilling six mounting holes as part of the installation process. Four of these holes receive threaded rivet nut inserts, while two additional holes secure the upper support brackets. Refer to the installation guide for vehicle-specific details.
How Difficult Is Installation?
The ACS FORGED is designed for DIY installation using common hand tools. Leitner estimates installation at approximately 2–3 hours for most vehicles.
How Long Does Installation Take?
Most owners can assemble the rack in approximately 1–1.5 hours. Mounting the rack to the vehicle, drilling the required holes, and installing the support brackets typically takes an additional 1–1.5 hours. Total installation time is generally 2–3 hours.

ACS FORGED Bed Rack Systems are covered by a 5-year limited warranty from the original purchase date. All other LEITNER Designs products are covered by a 2-year limited warranty.
What's Covered
Warranty remedies are limited to repair or replacement of products determined by LEITNER Designs to be defective in material or workmanship.
Warranty Exclusions
Damage caused by accidents, misuse, improper installation, negligence, fire, vandalism, acts of God, defective third-party components, abuse, or high-speed off-road driving is not covered under warranty.
Off-Road Use Notice
High-speed off-road driving, even with light loads, may cause damage to the rack system, accessories, or vehicle body panels and is not covered under warranty.
Warranty Claims
Customers must retain proof of purchase and contact LEITNER Designs directly for warranty claim instructions prior to returning any product.
